Dr. Hasan A Ahmed has served as a Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon at Barts Health NHS Trust in London since 2005. He received advanced fellowship training in shoulder and upper limb surgery in London, Southampton, and Portsmouth, gaining extensive experience in arthroscopic (keyhole) surgeries. For two decades, Dr. Ahmed has pioneered advanced shoulder and elbow arthroscopy techniques at Whipps Cross University Hospital, part of Barts Health NHS Trust. He also treats patients in multiple private hospitals around London, focusing on shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand conditions.
Due to his expertise, Dr. Ahmed receives referrals for complex sports and upper limb injuries. He specializes in minimally invasive fixation methods (keyhole surgery) to reduce trauma and enhance recovery.
